Volkswagen has used a Haldex clutch for the 4MOTION all-wheel drive since 1998. A new generation of the all-wheel drive clutch is now used by Volkswagen for the fi rst time in the Tiguan.

Unlike hydraulically assisted steering, which requires a permanent circuit flow, the electro-mechanical power steering only draws energy when steering force is necessary.

The VAS6161, MCR340V and In-Charge 940 (INC-940) are the only VW approved battery testers and chargers that can be used to test and charge batteries in VW vehicles. Use of non-approved battery testers and chargers is not allowed, as internal battery damage may occur.
